WUPPI A/S was founded in 1997 as a nationwide collection and recycling scheme for rigid PVC building waste. WUPPI’s founding companies and associated members are among the leading manufacturers and distributors of PVC and plastic products for Building & Construction. WUPPI is an abbreviation of the five founding companies Wavin, Uponor, Primo, Plastmo and Icopal. Associated members are Rias, Rehau, Pipelife, Wexøe, Solar, Veka, Scheider Electric and INEOS Inovyn.

WUPPI is supported by VinylPlus®, the European PVC industry’s commitment to sustainable development. Through VinylPlus, more than 7.3 million tonnes of PVC have been recycled in Europe since 2000.

WUPPI and Ragn-Sells Danmark A/S work together to make sure that as much rigid PVC waste as possible is being collected and recycled.
