When producer responsibility for packaging comes into force in 2025, Emballageretur will be a very experienced player ready to help companies cope with the challenges posed by producer responsibility. The new rules for packaging resemble those already in place for manufacturers and importers of electrical goods. Since 2005, Elretur has collected, treated and prepared end-of-life electrical items and batteries for reuse, recycling or disposal for more than the 950 companies that are members of Elretur, which is a non-profit organization. Thus, Elretur and Emballageretur have a deep knowledge of the circular economy, and our goal is to make Denmark a pioneer in the field of recycling and reuse.
