Reusable packaging as an environmental and commercial success and the role of consumer behavior

Adverse environmental impacts, new legislation and technical innovation, have placed packaging at an interesting point in time. Especially the question of re-useable packaging and consumer behavior have moved to the forefront of the discussion. This event will, based on start-ups concrete solutions and insights into consumer behavior try to deep dive into reusable packaging, its potential and the prerequisites for making it an environmental and commercial success.

This event will showcase and start a conversation on reusable packaging and consumer packaging behavior and try to answer the question; what is needed to make the transition into more reusable packaging a success, both from an environmental and business point of view, and what role does consumer behavior play.

Gitte Kjær (Founder, New Loop) and (Thomas Fugl Founder, Re-Zip) will give a firsthand account on how it is to work with reusable packaging, what their solutions is all about and what barriers they face. Meanwhile Hanne Hjorth from BehaveGreen will contribute with their findings on reusable packaging from a consumer behavior point of view.

Finally, the panelists will discuss, what needs to change to make reusable packaging more widespread and engage in a conversation on when and how it become an environmental and commercial success.

The event will give room to questions from the audience and nerdy conversations on packaging, consumer behavior and environmental impacts.
