Can the Built Environment Save the World?
27 APRIL | 11.00-11.45 | MAIN STAGE
With the Built Environment being a big contributor to CO2 emissions and climate change, there is huge potential in rethinking the entire sector and therefore reducing the negative impact on climate and the environment. In this debate the panelists discuss how a Circular Built Environment can save the world through cross-sector collaboration.
This debate circulates around the question, whether the Built Environment can save the world. We will explore and answer that question by pointing out that the built environment can be part of the solution, when thought together with different sectors within a circular and regenerative frame. The panelists will explore how to scale circular solutions in the construction sector and provide examples of cross-sectoral collaboration based on experiences from the industrial research network about the Circular Built Environment.
